LIONHEADS ARE NOW AN ACCEPTED BREED WITH ARBA IN TORT AND REW!!!!
These are my current herd sires. Each one brings something unique to my breeding program. From time to time one may become available for sale. Thank you to all the wonderful breeders who have graced my rabbitry with your stock! I have worked very hard over these last five years on bettering my herd. For the last few years, I have focused almost entirely on the agouti colors. I have produced a good number of winning chestnut lionheads on a national level. When the COD on chestnut was dropped, I made the hard decision to cut myself wayyy back on the variety, and also to open up some cage space for current COD varieties, especially now that lionheads have passed in tort and REW! I am still actively breeding agouti colors, and hope to begin working on dilute agouti varieties as well in 2015.

Schneider's Mossy Oak: 2XM black tort buck out of Weber's Like A Boss x FurSashe's Black Magic. Born 2/11/13. After not having torts in the barn for a couple of years, and now that the breed has passed in this color, it was time to bring this variety back into the barn. He comes as a gift from the Schneider girls of Schnieder's Little Lions Rabbitry. THANK YOU GIRLS!! Picture was taken on 1/16/14. He is a very beautiful boy!

Borgmann's Steve-O: 2XM sable point marten buck. Born 4/21/07. Sire: Borgmann's Snoopy. Dam: Borgmann's Rose. Weight: 2.43 lbs. What a darling! This was the first lionhead I ever purchased and the one that is responsible for my addiction to them, lol! He is just the sweetest thing..and that mane...he has an AWESOME mane at almost 4 years old! He has fairly good type. He is mostly just a pet, but does get used occasionally for breeding purposes. *STEVE-O has passed away in 2012. He had always been my very favorite, and will always hold a special place in the rabbitry*
L&D's Bold Ruler: 2XM chestnut buck out of L&D's Rico Suave x Castle Gate's Vanessa. Born 7/1/11. Bold Ruler was BOV Open Chestnut at 2011 ARBA Convention. He is also the sire to the BOV/BOSV winning chestnuts at Lionhead Nationals and was a huge part of my early agouti program. *REFERENCE ONLY**
Sunny Slope Jinx: 2XM chestnut buck out of Sunny Slope Charger x L&D Bold Ruler. Born 1/14/12. AMAZING little buck! BOSV winner at 2012 Lionhead Nationals in Open:) Jinx was a special little buck and one of my homebred winners. He has been sold, but I do have a full sister and a daughter here in the barn.
